Hey Guys

Just got a 10m and 14m rebel and have been hearing alot about tuning this kite. I was hoping for some posts about experiences on either of these for the best performance.

Cheers

Have you read some of the other posts on the Rebel? Ill come back and edit my post with a few links from previous posts for you.

Have a read of the manual and try the different settings out. I fly my Rebel with the back steering lines on the aft most pigtail settings. I have also moved the back lines to the next knot closer to the bar. I prefer flying it on this setting but thats just me.

hi omega

all my rebels fly the best stright out of the bag the only thing i do is move the the back pig tails from slow to fast on the 12m kite and above and leave them on slow settings on the smaller kites.

Hi omega

I have a 12mtr and the only thing I changed out of
the bag was the pig tails on the steering lines from
the front setting to the rear settings on the kite.
What a great kite the Rebel is, I'm sure you will be very
happy, I am!

Cheers Tony

Yes they do turn fast and hold their power very well,
yet let you dump the power at will. I love it.

Well done NORTH!

On the bigger sizes as with most kites, use the rear faster turning attachments. Smaller kites 9 and under if you are less experienced, front pigtail, more experienced back pigtail. I have put two extra knots in my 12 to increase power and it has some grunt as it is so hard to stall.
