Is there any way to repair a torn grip on a bar by being a tight ass and not buying a new one? I have thought about electrical heat shrink over the small tear but then its going to have a raised section that’s gonna rub on my hand.

There was a thread I started a while ago which might help (re; regripping bar), the short and curly is that I used a tennis racquet grip, you can buy from any sporting store, and regripped, using super glue to glue down edges, and kwick grip to glue down strip, worked a treat. If its only a small tear then super glue will work. Regripping with tennis grip makes the bar feel extremely comfortable!

Hope this helps

Do you recall what brand or material? The one's I've seen wouldn't hold-up when saturated....
