Much to my irritation, I've discovered a couple of small cuts in my relatively new wetsuit. How can I go about repairing these? They go all the way through to the inside [}:)]

EDIT: Oh bollocks.... Laurie, can you move this to the 'General' general section please? Didn't mean to put it in the Kitesurfing section.

Mate, there's some black sickalfex (sp?) stuff you can get from h/ware store-been using it for years-it's expensive, but great. It's the black one-waterproof etc. etc.

you can sew a wetsuit with dental floss. It doesnt dissolve like cotton in salt water. THose lifetime wetsuit warranties in regard to the stitching are bollocks, send it somewhere and you dont see your wettie for months

the glue you get in the bicycle tube repair kits works well to, that combined with a thin polyester thread and a fine needle tightly strung only halfway through the rubber works a treat.
got gouged over a stump 18mths ago, fixed like this and it still as good as the day I bought it, just uglier.
