Did you talk to him on the water? That's what I thought... brave of you to complain here though....

im confused... dave are you taking the piss cus i laughed
but yes, yesterday was intense. its not often that you can plane when body dragging up wind graph says 32 gusts (on river) but it was so gusty you couldnt go 5 seconds with out getting a huge yank and the dingle dangles dropped you straight down or lifted you twice in one jump

More Detail.

Strong wind conditions down at Cott Dutchies yesterday evening. About 20 poleys were putting on a good display (saw a red poleboard broken in two.)

I went out as the only kiter for half an hour or so on a 7m Waroo - but the wind was so gusty that when gybing it felt like the kite was going to invert. It was hard to do more than tack in and out on the swell.

Then Niall (if it was Niall) ripped it up big time on an RRD Hypertype. Th kite looked as stable as anything - didn't appear to come close to inverting even in the strongest gusts. And he just rode up and down the line as the only kiter for the next hour or so - putting on a clinic for those few in the peanut gallery.

Respect.
