I have a input valve with a tear in the side which during the session deflates the kite. The obvious solution is to get a Ustick valve replacement but all Aussie dealers are out of stock!

I really need my kite up and running before the weekend and have tried super glue which failed and a glue gun which has also failed.

Does anyone have any tried and tested product recommendations to get me through the week.

The pic below shows the tear:

Go visit Graham Baker, www.choicekitesurfing.com.au, buy a you stick nipple!

go home, boil the kettle... make a cup-0-tee.. pour a cup for the kite as well...

take the bladder out of your kite. If that is the leading edge just pull the bladder out the whole a bit then soak the nipple in hot water (note:do not stick it in your cup-0-tee) remove old nipple, wipe with alco wipe supplied with USTICK nip. Clean, dry and ready for next step.

stick your fresh new ustick varlve from www.choicekitesurfing.com.au buy online and get it posted to you..

hope theat is quick enough and does the job..If needed I can send you a USTICK from SWITZERLAND...or I will bring one next time I pop over for a quick kite session in WA...

see you in 3 weeks for a kite.
happy windy weeks

maybe the glue that comes with the repair kits? youd have to scrape all the super glue and the hot glue gun glue off though, then give it a bit of sand paper to roughen it up and then metho clean it and glue it

If you have a spare old bladder that you can cannibalize,
you could try this.........

Remove the inflate valve from the spare old bladder by neatly cutting around the outside edge.....
that's the outside edge of the plastic base flange (it's about 45mm in diameter) with scissors.

Now remove the damaged nozzle section from the subject bladder with a sharp knife or scalpel....
leaving the flat plastic base flange still attached to the bladder.

Overlay accurately and glue (be generous) the new part directly onto the flat original flange.

Use bicycle tyre repair glue and cover it with a bladder repair patch. Did the job for me.

I'm gonna guess you have been looking for the inflate valves? cos there are non of them. I know some stores have the deflate valves though and I rekon , judging by you picture, that the deflate valve may fit through the hole. worth a look in.

nah, windforce has sold out of the input valves, but they still have some deflate valves the other week, find out the diameter of the hole in the kite first and give em a call.
