Want to know the main differences between the two...

Wind ranges, bar pressure (overall feel), boosts, float, relaunch

Any info would be great!

P.S I fly waroos

P.P.S Anyone know about any issues witht the Rhino 06? Trying to get a mate into the sport

Cheers

bridled kites suck the big left one ay. 5th line hybrids are nicer in my opinion. but generally they are very similar in shape, i THINK bridled SLE kites have a bit more instant depower and top end compared to 5th line HYBRIDS but overall teh 5th line HYBRIDS perform a little better and are safer as you can flag the kite onto a fith line if the Sh** hits the fan.hmmm i read something somewhere about definitions of kite etc, might try dig it up.. if i can be f**kd that is

i think charl flys waroos could be wrong. But for the main customer to kite manufacturers these days they just want something along the lines of a bow /sle/ hybrid/kite.The sle and hybrid kites i think do have a role to play in the future, in terms of beginer progression and also in the waves but for an everyday rider/ cruiser i would recomend a sle / hybrid they are safer and you also have the ability to flag the kite down on one line if the "sh*& hits the fan"

yes yes brad i ride waroos, and im gettin sick and F**KING TIRED of the bridle on teh 13 wrapping around itself and leaving me high and dry when a 4m great white was recently spotted near the location bridles just keep on giving me Sh** and im over them completely, plus they pull like friking tanks unhooked.

but ur right, for everyday freeriding a Hybrids defnitly the way to go and same in surf because you can drop power and ride naturally. but when your into advanced tricks then its about time to trade in.

hold on a sec so they pull like a truck but you dont like the for advance tricks???? and also i think cam and nath prest ride waroos and i think they are pretty sick riders its not that hinders you its the rider these days for instance lou and all the maui crew were sticking things that we are still trying to do on 2 lind kites experimental board and no leash so i think kite leaving you high and dry is actually down to rider error

ummm pulling like a truck wen ur over powerd isnt nice as it pulls u off edge, i hvnt ridden c kites much but wat I personally found on the fuel was that it was more controlable unhooked when over powered.

as for error.. im sure the wingtip passing through the front bridle making relaunch and self rescue both a mission and a half rather random than frkn rider error, especially since it happend after the kite hit the water.

waroos are sick kites and all to get going and they do help u progress because you feel more confident on them as aposed to a old C that wud just flog you around if you stuff up something major, and they are nice in gusty conditions. just when youve worn them in and sails have stretched they loose a bit of flying ability. aparantly the new yarga and bulla construction is alot better which means same would apply for the new Nemi and Waroo, if this is so then they should be really nice kites.. but im just sayin from personal experience that ive prefered using a 5th line non bridled kite.

Have to agree Charl - coming from the Flows which are great kites but pull like the preverbial and going to the Havocs and now vapor the learning curve has increased again - the power becomes far more usable, Im able to do things now that I just couldnt on the Flow - you actually end up with more time under the canopy when you dont have to have both hands wedged to the bar, flow was awesome in the surf but the vapor is opening new windows...

You boys need to try the new Rev ( hype) it has a tiny bridal doesn't snag and has the flag depower without the tangles HMM not all kites are anywhere near the same this year..
