Were you one of the 15 or more kiters who braved the wet and windy weather to ride the surf rolling in a Dolls today.
What is you opinion of the session - given that for most of us it was only the second kite in as many weeks

Being a newbie (very) I thought it wise to leave my kite at home and just watch. I am thinking tomorrow might be a better bet. I have a new kite that I haven't even got in the air yet. Today was not the day.
What were you flying Goose?

SUNDAY - Another day of freezing cold water but not so much rain. Good to see the ' HARDMEN ' of kiting out in it today. Biggest winter roll-up i've seen for awhile. ( thats because we've been starved of wind.)
Plenty of driftwood in the river to dodge. Lots of opportunity to practice evasive techniques.
Great to see Felix has his 'Pinky' back. Brian did a majorly good job sewing it back together.
Big congrats to ALL kiters today - with so many at one spot could have been mayhem but commonsense and gentlemanly behaviour ruled the day.
Come on girls - when are we going to see some of you brave the ' ice bucket ' and mix it with the blokes

Hey Goose, definately more pleasant conditions than yesterday. The job Brian did on my kite was awesome... looked great and the kite flew like nothing had ever happened to it. Done in just 4 days. Not bad for a kite that many of us though was a write off. Can't recommend Brian from Barracouta Sails highly enough.

Now have my mojo back and pumped for the next session !!!!!

Richie was out Wanda in the arvo, no wetsuit! There's hardcore for you. He sounded like a mariachi band though as his maraccas were banging togeather from the cold
