Where to kite specifically in these areas?
What's the wind like down there during autumn and winter (if any at all)?

Wind at these times is hit or miss, but you have to real unlucky to go a few days in a row without wind.
Kiting rules for Shallow inlet.
The carpark is not a launch/land area. That is around the corner on the flats beach side of the dunes.
This is due to protecting the public and showing a real sense of responsibility.
Sailboards have right of way. get in the road of one on a speed run and they can't do much to avoid you.
westerlies are good on the surf beach for down the line waves.
Northerlies are way stronger than they look.
