Points taken about keeping it simple.
However, I believe if we are to be successful for (what I've gathered to be) the three goals here: 1. Continued beach access, 2. Safety for all and 3. Social / community aspects, then I think we'll need more of a 'strategy', of which the guidelines will be a part.
In the proposal, guidelines come under kiter liaison. Even if that's all we do, there is still a need for some policy on how to distribute those guidelines, enforce them, remedy when they are broken and other beach users are affected, promote the fact that we have guidelines to ensure access and keep council, slsa, etc on our side.
I'm not WAKSA by the way, just a concerned beach user. I've got other personal commitments I'm trying to adapt for tonight because I believe that:
1. There'll never be 'enough notice' or 'the perfect meeting time'
2. Giving up some time and effort here is going to be worthwhile
3. We need a collective community effort
