Hey Girls, its time to pull out the rashie and dust off the harness, as well as get your socialising hat on for the WACK! 08/09 season kick off.
We will be gathering for our first event for the season (and our inaugural gathering) on October 19th from 2pm at Pinnaroo Point.
This is a casual social kitesurfing event for the fairer sex to get together on and off the water, open to all levels of kiters- we all know what it was like to be starting out
We will have bbq's, eskis and ice, just bring yourselves, some food and drinks, and of course all your gear.
If the wind god is not smiling on us, we have some no wind activities planned, so come along and be a part of a great bunch of like minded women.

Kids and partners are welcome to come along and support the girls!

Look out for the WAKSA banners on the beach, and come join us for a fantastic afternoon.

CYA on the water very soon!
Nic, Nina and Joy (WACK! committee)

PS
Mark your diary's now for WACK! for the 2nd Sunday of the months from November to Febuary-
9th November at Penguin Island,
14th December at Woodman's Point,
11th January at City Beach,
8th February at Dongara.
Watch for more details of each event (and maybe some extra events) closer to the time.

Hi Nic,

Just got told about the thread (as I don't usually have time to check the forums with kids). Sounds great and if everything goes to plan... will see you there! Will let some of the other mums/kiters know!

Hi WACK and all other ladies,

As it's our home beach, we'll chip in and have a bunch of kites which are super women friendly for you all to try in small sizes too.

Girl friendly = Light bar pressure, short depower length and smooth flying.

We will also have the new range of Pat Love Ladies harnies to try on as well as the good old Flying Objects Sapphire Ladies Harnies. We have in fact, a number of 2nd hand FO ladies harnesses for sale. Will bring them along too, going cheap!

If there is anything else we can do to support you all, let me know. Only too happy to help out!

Cheers and good winds,

AKS

Hey Knickers

Great Idea for the ladies especially the ones that need a little bit more encouragement.

BUMP

Just to remind chick kiters (and kiters-to-be) out there that we are on for this Sunday at Pinnaroo Point, lets all start the wind dances now!
Regardless of wind, looking forward to meeting you all at the beach

PS kite b#tches of any gender are welcome to attend, especially those with child-minding as a secondary skill
