AKSonline said...Hi Puetz,
Great vid. I loved the aft facing camera on the strut in the beginning, it was a great angle and was interesting to watch the canopy in flight.
The purple haze effect took me right back to the late eighties and early nineties when I spent a lot of time seeing double through a chemical haze

Darwin looks like a North stronghold. How you blokes enjoying the new kites, any valve issues or a thing of the past?
Cheers for the vids, you blokes look like you know how to have a good time, that's my kinda fun!

G'day Darren,
thanks for the props dude!
I saw a vid somewhere where the dude faced the camera aft and liked it so I did it too, looks cool I reckon!! The amazing thing is the canopy is really steady given the fact that I'm one heavy dude and give it a hard time, so the North Rebel 2011 is one stable kite indeed, even looping it. Us mob here are loving the new 2011 Rebels!!
The purple haze thing was me attempting to cover up the fact that the camera had some moisture on the lens and made the original footage all out of focus so I fudged the colours and mucked around with it until I could use it, sort of anyway!
The whole thing is me mucking around, trying not to take it too serious, you know, vids of your mates aimed at a target audience of my mates!!
cheers for now,
Robbie
p.s. coined from our local pusher, the Darwin Kite Crew is a drinking club with a kiting problem

!!!
p.p.s. no valve problems yet (

touch wood
