I'm having a heck of a time tracking down a set of bridles for my new secondhand 7m 2010 Waroo

Does anyone out there in kiterland have any idea of where I can get them from?

I was looking for the whole front set from the leading edge down as well as the rear set, but at this stage I'd settle for the sections which the pulleys and rings run along.

It's kind of dissapointing though that I can't get genuine parts for a kite that is only one season old, especially with everyone harping on about supporting local business; where's the support from local business??

Yes I know it's only a relatively small puchase, but isn't this the sort of service we're supposed to be protecting by buying local?

If it comes down to it; does anyone know where in Perth I can some suitable line and someone to show me how to do a decent job making my own?

Most stores should be able to replace or repair a bridle without the need for an original factory part. It is often difficult to stock a full range of things like bridles which can be different lengths for each size. Most can just be made from scratch.

Well I've been successful with bladder repairs (selft taught) and canopy repairs, thanks to advice from the good peeps on here and Mr Marshall.
So I guess learning a bit of 'linework' will only add to the feathers in my cap

I do prefer genuine gear in the first instance, but if I can't get hold of it, I'll pop on in to AKS for the best stuff
