It’s understandable that showing a video on a spot but not naming or giving details of the actual spot is reasonable. But not because it’s aptly named by locals as semi-secret but because as it’s been said on kiteforum the place is hardcore something that isn’t always apparent through a video clip.

It’s just within the literal sense of semi secret spots it’s not possible to maintain and expect in today’s internet media age. I know of a spot that could be called secret in fact un-ridden by local kite surfers ( well as far as I know ) but i have been fortunate to see pro surfers being filmed on location there while i was fishing. Too hardcore for me anyhow to go out to try..

Would say it’s a similar like gnaraloo, catched loads of sharks off the beach - rocks to wash up on if you get things wrong - huge scary waves - but a sweet break - no reef though to splat onto - crosshore winds - but hours from a medical centre if you get smacked up.

Anyhow the point is it’s for the hardcore experienced traveler to have fun in and showing it on a video wouldnt do it justice to the risks of kiting there for some of us mortals

Yo guys are very funny yes !
You go on about this secret spot you want to protect from othere (internationals)but I would be guessing less than 2% of you have even been there !
This is very funny for sure yar !
Maybe if you were to put as much energy into protecting the spots from developers as opposed to keeping others away it would be better for all involved.

Keep on frothing and getting angry while the world passes you all by. This very funny indeed, yar

Comrade Kremi
most likely half of them haven't driven past Geraldton yet.

The reality is that a Euro (or whoever) tourist will allways surf/sail/visit more places over here than a "Local" cause they want to do it.

The majority of locals are to lazy to travel anywhere in their state other than a 100km radius of home, most people would rather hop on a plane to Bali than drive up north or down south for a day.

The Waveslave has it right, He's sailed more places than I've heard about, when on holidays they travel around sailing different spots other than his local.

If you haven't sailed the spot mentioned on the vid then t's time to get of your freckles boyz, stop whining about it and thank the dude for directions.
