Can anyone help me with details of the best (cheapest) method of sending a kite board to a potential ebay purchaser. Tried Aust Post but they have a max length of 105cm.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I second busfreight.com.au. I've used them to send snowboards before and it was way cheaper and more convenient than other courier options.

busfreight is the way to go... takes ~8 days but super cheap
