hi there

i`m beginner - had 3 lessons at a kite school and bought a slingshot turbodiesel 06 12qm. i had a few runs on the water but i think my setup ( adjuster and where to knot the lines) is wrong.
Would be nice if anybody could give me some necessary advice to get a better control over my kite!!

thanks

When you say that your control is not good, can you describe what is happening? I rode an 06 TD for about a year so know all of te in's and out's. Is it a new o second hand kite?

I always rode with the lines on the second knot from the end for front and back lines and sometimes the outer lines on third knot for light days. I recommend using second knot for front lines as a standard and adjusting outside between second and third.

If it's a second hand kite and the lines and bar setup have been changed from standard, you will need someone with experience who has used this kite to check your setup.

I put the back lines on the third knot and the front lines on the first to get more power.yesterday it was much better than the last time. the kite was stable in the air and didn`t shake around!!!
what about the yellow ball and the stopper - Am I wright when I put the stopper as far away as possible when I´m beginner?

Thanks so far

Leave the yellow ball where it was when it came set up and leave the stopper as far out as possible when a beginner.

Hey echo, you and I didn't have lessons - I learned a lot from Seabreeze when I was learning.
