Noticed the same of Sth Trigg beach last night, pretty much where I turn to tack up to Scarbs. Didn't see any tree huggers out there trying to destroy them, maybe they'll wait till after dark.

Found it a bit disconcerting knowing that sharks will find food in the area even if it's on a hook.

Just snuck an early kite this morning (love getting out early) at mullaloo and noticed there's also a drum line right in the middle of the kiting zone, maybe 300m of the beach. It's a small enough area for kiting as it is without putting extra bouys. I noticed there's also some red and white markers 100m either side of the drum lines that are new. Does that mean that we are supposed to stay away, if so I guess that means the entire kiting area off the beach is out?
Regardless of your position on culling big Noah's (and I don't mean to spark that debate again) I think not enough thought and consideration has been put the application of drum lines.
