Just been told if you remove the stabilizers or battens the kite will be lighter and will perform better . ex turning launching etc. just some thoughts on this suggestion thanks. I think they have been put their 4 a reason why change ......

My mate took the batterns of his 12 ? metre and he rates it now. Don't really no y tho

Pretty poor product if you have to take something off it to make it work properly but if it flies better without them then I'd just take them off.

Then again - I've always been pretty dubious on battens. They break, they're heavy and I think with proper design you shouldn't need them. I think most of the kite co's that had them a couple of seasons back put them on just because North did. Now they are beginning to realise that they don't really need them...
