Demoed one. Bought another brand kite instead.
Really good for people who want little/no bar pressure. Only tried it on the 4 line bridle config. but it looks like it is oversheeting through turns. Good construction, boost/hang time are average/good.
This type of kite will suit some riders.Nothing wrong with the link just not for me

I bought a 12m about a month ago.
First couple of outings I wasn't totally impressed comparing it to my F-One Tribal 13. BUT, after a few more sessions I'm wrapped.
There has been some bridle tuning required from SS to get it to fly correctly, now it's done, sweet as.

Yep.. Just picked up a 12m yesterday and flew it last night in quite big choppy seas and in 25 knots gusty stuff and had the arse depowered out of it. I'm only 65kg's and had no probs on my 126 board. Stayed upwind ok considering the amount of swell. I've been learning to jump on my 10TD and the link was giving me great controlled air, was landing all my jumps and I was getting some great height. The guys on the beach said it was looking great.
Need to check bridals tho as it was bouncing about a bit more than the demo kite, probably due to the wind and waves tho.
As for no bar pressure, I think its a great amount of bar pressure, you can feel that its there, more than a sonic 14 and way less than my 10TD.
I like it and think it will just get better and better.
