I just started kite surfing late last year. I can jump, i have got the back rolls going and also was getting to the point of nearly completing a handle pass (but face planting into my board and splitting my eye brow open[}:)])

But now the season is over and the wind is mostly gone till the fronts come through down here and i freeze my ass off!! I NEED TO CURE THE ADDICTION!! i was wanting to find out some info about snow kiting so this addiction can be cured

i own a SB2 8m and was wondering is this would be alright for snow kiting? i am going on a school trip up to the snow for a week from the 10th - 15th of August. I am staying at Mt Hotham and Falls Creek.

My main Q's are,

Will there be enough wind?
Can i kite at both these Locations?

All Help would be greatly appreciated,

Cheers, Coose
