I wasnt there but the boys said an indo fishing boat went over and got washed through the reef -
there was fish gear and net everywhere - I saw another clip of wilson getting barrelled and the net nearly going right over his head.
So that is a big net not a kite

I enjoyed it!

cheers for posting Bruce i was going to get round to doing it- but i dont need to now. yeah that was a fishing boat that got sunk that morning- lucky it was the right tide otherwise no surfers would have been there. there where 4 people on board and none could swim. 1 adult and 3 small children. the adult managed to get himself to land somehow and he thought all his kids had drowned but 3 surfers paddled out and where rescuing them as we rocked up- very lucky! and glad they where all right. oh and the surfing session that day was sooo fun!
And yes as Laurie said i did just sign with BENWILSON SURF and so stoked to be part of the team.

Mercifully there is more actuall surfing footage than pimping logo time in this vid. A definate improvement.

Some very noice shots in there Sprukex but probably a bit long with many 'wonder why they left that average stuff in?' Much of it only skims the surface of Ryland's abilities IMO. Maybe he's not allowed to show up the boss? (LOL).
