I haev heard that maroochy river mouth is meant to be allright in westly winds? Still susing out whether its worth it, in the gusty conditions anyways... DO you know of any good spots?

go down the highway towards brisbane cross a bridge onto bribie island hang a right and there you are in the face of a clean westerly - maroochy too gusty wind bounces off buildings and travels across water for a short distance.. it can be done but its dodgy.
