Guy's, need some help with stance

At low to medium speeds all is good (but slow), as I crank up the speed my trailing leg/ankle starts to catch in the chop. Several times this has resulted in a good sinus flush after face planting into the water when the board has stopped and I've kept going.
Am using a 555 137x42 and have my feet well into the straps.

Any suggestions

Cheers

If you try and bone out your front leg a bit straighter it might help. Try and keep your hips forward too, even though it may not be directly related to your trailing leg catching it does promote a good stance which might help indirectly.

I agree with GreenPat. It's probably your posture not your stance. Poo stance can cause your ankles to bury in the chop.

Bone out your front leg, tilt your hips forward, open your chest and tip your shoulders back. If you have trouble reaching the bar, pull in the trim strap a little.

Thanks Guy's, will get the hip's forward and trim the kite back as the bar can be a stretch on the Bandit's

Fossil, no didnt get there (apologies Jobbo), followed the local crew to Cowell and got totally filled in by the 30+kt westerly. Will have go at Germein Bay in saner conditions.

Cheers
