Taken from Umina beach, my 15m slingshot was stolen. they stole just the kite, I still have the bar and bag. If you see anyone with this kite they will most likely have a different bar and bag for it. I won't specify the things that I would like to do to this person when i find him, but if anyone knows this person, I am offering a reward of $200 if you know of the where-abouts of my kite. I have the serial number for this kite and will be very generous to whoever can help me find the person that stole it.

Kind Regards

Hey Hangtime,
Thanks, I wont give out the serial numbers here, but I can say that I feel very strongly that it was someone local and I will be keeping my eyes out for anyone with my colour kite that has a different bar or bag. There were not too many of that colour around, i have only seen two others, so hopefully they will show up one day thinking the heat is off. I do appreciate any help, it is a sick feeling when someone walks away with your property. I have a hard time understnading how you can go and enjoy yourself knowing you nicked someones kite. Well hopefully karma will take care of this ****-head. I know that if i do find him on the beach there will be a

Hey wave,

If / when you see ur kite in the air, I hope you keep in mind that most kite equipment that is stolen (that i've seen on here so far) is not actually stolen by fellow kiters. More often than not some low life has seen the opportunity to grab what he can while u are out on the surf, and try to pawn it off not knowing:
a) what it is worth,
b) what it is,
c) what kind of trouble he will have trying to sell it to a fellow kiter who does know a) and b)

I doubt it will make it any better, but other kiters quickly know when stuff is stolen, and usually report it here. So fingers crossed a fellow kiter recognises ur stuff , and posts it.

Thanks guys, it's a great feeling to know that your fellow kiters look out for one another. You also have opened my eyes to the idea that there is a better chance that it was not one of us. Most of us know how ****ty it would be to nic someones gear.

Thanks again
With great regards
