Hi there!
I am from Europe travelling here in Australia - currenty at the Sunshine Coast.
I wonder if you could give me some suggestions where I might find the best kite spots. A friend is coming and we thought about a week around the Whitsundays, Perth, South Australia or... Actually that will be in March. My friend is really advanced I'm an advanced beginner
What do you think?
See you at the beach

By the way - why is everybody reading this but nobody is answering?

We're not going to give away our secret spots!
March is towards the end of the windy season in Perth but the further you travel up north, the longer (and stronger) the windy season is. If you want flat water, and are only interested in kiting for a week solid, head up to exmouth. Itll take 14 hours to get there but worth every second once you see the coast line and the kiting.
You can stick out in Perth for a bit of everything but I am not sure what the wind will be doing then. If so, there are heaps of beaches...
An intermediate option is Geraldton which will still be blowing. Even closer to Perth is Lancelin but will only be marginally stronger than Perth...awesome place though.
It has been a late start to summer so it may be a late finish!
The best thing to do search through these forums or go to FAQ about locations.

What is an advanced beginner? One step below a beginner intermediate? Is there an intermediate beginner? What about a beginner advanced? Would the advanced advanced be like Hadlow etc?
