Yep, I use Sundog Tremors. They are the polarised ones.

I got these after going through two pairs of Dirty Dogs in the space of two months. The Dirty Dogs kept falling apart and the lenses fell out. Got the Sundogs, had them over a year now, and very happy with them. My usual spot is Botany Bay and in the Summer Afternoons in a NE'sterly you spend half the time with the sun right in your face. Never had a problem the 'polarisation effect' you mentioned, but that may be more related to my crappy technique!

LAVA's??


Anyone know if Lava's are still being sold in OZ? These rocked... saw them in Mui Ne (Vietnam) this December so they are obviously still around... these were very comfy, but my last pair was erm... shall we say removed by the underprivilidged...

I know they are pricey but I have had my Oakley's for 3 seasons and they dont have a scratch on them. Tough as nails.Wouldn't consider kiting without them.

Cool, anyone else with the Sundogs... Im thinking of getting a pair too, want to make sure that theyll last!

The Blueyes are about $72 online. The Oakleys are $300. I know, all the arguements like you can't put a price on your eyes and all that, but is there much difference between these two ?

My sundogs lasted about 18 months. They did not survive my wife reversing over them last week! Good excuse to get the polarised ones. Airborne have tham at $150-00 per pair and I think SOS carry them as well.

Sundogs(polarised((they come with or without))price $99-$150) are the best I've used since LAVA'S.
Tried the Blue eyes online deal and got about $7 p/min for my effort as I lost a lense the first time they touched the water and had the same experience with seaspecs.
Have now had the doggies for about 4 months and am totally stoked, personaly I think polarising gives added benefit to seeing chop here in WA,(won't take long to get used to it) and I also feel that anybody out there who thinks it's uncool to wear any type of sun protection for their eyes must truly be stupid, especially here in WA with both the setting sun and glare off the water in the arvos, it's just an ask for retina fry.

But this is just my opinion

I may have not so sensitive eyes so I don't need polarised, however I am wearing contacts, and I want my eyes wery well protected from the "splash".
I know most of you may laugh, but, I am using $15.00 UVEX, eye protection glasses from... Bunnings.
They are UV block, wrap around the face with very little space for splash to get my eyes, pretty comfy colour and fit, I can fit a band trough the ear pieces, and, most important, if I loose them... buy a new pair for only $15.00.
Try them, you will be amazed.
To answer another question, you can add some foam tube, like the one used in fridges to insulate the copper pipes, on the band, that will make the think floating, although, it will be very tricky to see them if you will be dragged few meters away downwind

servo's sell polarised cheap sunnies, normally $20 or so. The protection of polarisation but at more of a disposable price..

Good on you Caleah , it's true blueye sunglasses rocks !!! don't forget to attach an other leash to the back one as you can still lose them when you re doing tricks !!

I have busted the lens out twice on a pair of sundogs. The first time the shop replaced them but when i emailed them to get a replacement lens the second time i never got a respnse.
Does anyone know someone to call to get a replacement lens?
