Did anyone get out yesterday/going out today? I went out yesterday from 5pm to 6:30 pm from North Shore to Mudjimba then hung at Mudjimba for a while. Wind was 21 to 28 knots and waves were around 4ft mark - in some places really smooth and cross shore - had my 10m SB2 and my new (secondhand) Airush Hammer - what a board - it's the best board I've ever used in the surf. It's so awesome to carve. Had my best wave ever yesterday.

Yeh, had a stonking run around 2pm at Kawana. Great surf and nice wind. Hope today delivers the same. What were you riding before the Hammer?

ha ha, my conversion of the Sunshine Coast is off to a good start [}:)] Glad you like the Hammer - told you it ruled and you didn't even get a chance to ride mine....!

Now I just have to get you to try a Vapor....!....I'm back at Easter and will have my new Vapor II in tow.....

I was riding a 134cm Delta Twin Tip that I broke when riding with Paradox over the holidays. Both boards are quite stiff which I like in the surf but the Hammer carves much better, doesn't get spray in the eyes and cuts through the chop like butter. It has a double concave through the bottom which feels good.

had an awesome session yesterday arvo at caloundra river mouth, just me and another bloke in the flat water for about an hour, both committed big air junkies by the looks. had a few jumps there where i wasn't sure if i would come down! super gusty wind but brilliant nonetheless.

Had an awsome Kawana run. Hope it keeps up for the weekend. Only down side at the moment is the ridiculous amount of that foamy fish jizz **** around. For strapless riding, it turns even the best wax job into a bar of soap in 10 minutes.
