We've just done a mod to a XBow bar (which I'm using with my SBlades) that might be of interest for you guys. We managed to adapt the SS Turbo Diese 'movable' stopper ball to a XBow bar.

What we used:
  • XBow Bar
  • SS Stopper Ball
  • SS Chickenloop rope
  • Part of a powerlock system
  • Plastic Ball

I haven't tested it yet as there was no wind so far. I will let you know how well it really works once tested.

A few Crossbow riders are using that mod here on the Gold Coast.

Works fine. Just prevents auto depower if you let go of the bar.

Yeah, I'm aware of that limitation. That's why I'm keeping one of my bars stock standard. In this way I can use the standard bar for very gusty conditions and the modified bar for steady and/or low winds.
