I'm trying to think of something cheap and easy to pick up for temporary battons. Wood dowling comes to mind but but I doubt it's strong enough.
I picked up a P.L. Farc for travel but have discovered the battons are longer than I anticipated for airlines. I wonder if I can pick something up on the road. I would only be using this kite under light duty conditions. I'm still in the learning phase and wouldn't be in anything other than flat water and SAFE location. Basically it would be something to use between lessons and then rent a board once I'm ready.
How strong would the battons have to be for flatwater ( expect a breakdown ) duty?
