The day started of well with a nice 18knott breeze. Then it went to 30knott gusts which wrenched me right off my 11m and was making it impossible to body drag back upwind.
THANKYOU to all the kiters at Kurnell today that had a look for my missing board even the infamous Col (i believe) got in on the search. You all should be happy to know that the board did turn up around 8km+ down the beach washed up on an oyster bed which cut my foot up. It was a few hundred meters passed the Caltex pipes and only 200m or so till the opening to the ocean, thankgod it washed up.
And to top it all off, on the way home my car was run up the back of by some Twat with all mine and JimmyZ's kite gear in the boot. Lucky none of our gear was damaged but my boot was not so lucky

Moral of the story is....... Latte side is nicer
