I may be biased but...
I really reakon its depends on what kind of kiter you are and what you aspire to be..
From my expirience bow's really suit the average joes who cruise up and down popping little to medium size jumps, who arent really going to get any good very quickly.
If you want to go hard go C.
For the weekend or once a month cruiser not interested in tricks and keeping within his boundaries not really pushing himself go bow.

and don't ever buy a C kite again! [Steve might be forced to snigger as he takes your cash because he's been consumed by the mental picture he has, of you walking off a cliff.]

I sell C kites, and no, don't snigger when someone walks out with one or a quiver, I respect their choice and only stock quality kites, so its all good.

The other 20% will be catered for with C kites for a while longer yet, but the choices of brands and models will dry up as demand and volumes drop off, which is fine because a lot of you are lemmings anyway, you all aspire to do the same tricks, so you may as well all be using the same kite!

Lemmings don't follow each other blindly to mass suicides off cliffs. This is a myth originated in a Walt Disney "documentary".

It was a good computer game though.
