Just thought i would mention this for new kiters that are not used to extreme sports.
As i have standard surfed for most of my life (but a newb kiter) i understand the in water unwritten language pretty well.
But i think there is one "CALL" that is becoming a little should i say Jaded or perhaps overlooked/mis-understood for one of its main meanings.
Its the Good old "WOOOOOOOOO" or WOOOOOP or WOOOYEH !!!
your buddy has just hit a massive F16 and youve given him the CALL wooop !!! wooyeh or whatever comes out of your stoked voice box.
Now... not only will the guy be stoked because his kick ass manouver has just been witnessed .....but he also now knows
YOU are there.
Sometimes when surfing or doing anything extreme the rider is zoned he may not be fully aware that you are in his/her surroundings (especially if riding behind )so the GOOD OLD loud CALL of WOOOOP !!! serves a very important safety purpose it means NICE ONE MATE but im here too so dont run me over !!!!
Its also much nicer than shouting OYYYY !!!!
So WOOOOOOP on dudes !
Keep it real, keep it safe, keep the dream alive
