I do mostly surfing but could not enjoy a session without trying at least 5 boost (I have straps).

Unfortunately, the pading on kite surfboards is way thin and I tend to finish my session with sore heels from the impacts.

I miss the thick pads from my early days on a twin tip.

Does anyone can recommend some decent pading that hopefully won't interfere too much with the straps as I like to keep them real loose so I can move my feet easy?

Let me know,

Hmmm, sounds like a pretty impossible situation... But! You could always put a layer of blue yoga mat under existing surfboard deck grip that you have? Or, something similar could be found at clark rubber to ad another layer under and make it thicker.

Good luck.

Those are rubbish, they absorb way too much water and make the board heavy, other sugestion were welcome tho

I use 1cm thick EVA foam, medium density, under the pads of all my surfboards. Purists may detest, but they give a much smoother ride in chops, save the boards from dents when boosting, and save my knees from repeated impacts. The worst, in my experience, is the constant high freqency vibration coming from a rigid epoxy board. After a 2-3 hours session, it's the main reason of coming in, unless it's glassy cross shore......... not with the extra padding.

Just go to your local Clark rubber store - youll find what you need there... buy it in squares and cut it to what suits your deck n foot movement etc

Too easy

there is a shop here which sells EVA foam by metre. It's cheap. Make a search, there should be a few in your area.
How to:
1. peal the original pads off gracefully.
2. stick them onto the EVA foam
3. cut the foam around the pads in an angle of 45-60 degree
4. glue them back onto the original place of the pads with contact adhesive or something which can be easily removed later by a solvent. (not liquid nail )
5. Stick them on, and loosen the foot straps
