, that guy is sooooooo lucky. He didn't hook back into his harness until he was like 30 feet up, if you watch closely he hooks back in just before an updraft takes him another 50 feet up, no way he would have been able to hold on.
He is lucky he was able to stay calm and keep the kite in control and fly himself away from the updraft.
Note to Self - Safety First - Check weather predictions and always keep an eye on the weather when out on the water. Things can change and happen very fast.
