Start with the basics.
Small boost, teaches how to steer the kite,
then back rolls, back rolls to revert,
next are turns with drive n power, trying to sink kite n board turns can be difficult.
next either small boosting front rolls or raley's
Then start to grab any boosts with your back hand, add rolls when comfortable.
after raleys there is kryps, vulcans, s bends ( or spins)
then sliding hooked in then sliding to blind, then olie to blind, riding blind, then spins out of blind, or unhooked olie to blind pass out. Then at a little edge work up to raley to blind..
Ok I think thats enough for starters, if you'd like any advice please let me know I do teach this stuff..
Good luck and remmeber if your not crashing your not trying enough :-)

Well iv got basic boosts going and i can do back rolls now so i think i might try some grabs with the basics and if im feeling like a beating ill try for a un-hooked raily.

After backrolls I went for frontrolls, they feel pretty sweet if you can nail them without using the kite for lift (just pop). Don't forget to try everything on your switch foot too.

I remember doing switch back rolls for the first time - it felt so wierd. Funny thing though is I can do a railey on my switch side much better than my natural side.

Sometimes it's easier to do tricks on your switch as you tend to concentatre that little bit more..

I say... go for boosting as high as it is humanly possible, it teaches you howto land . You can borrow my 14m in these 30knot winds on wednesday... if you die I get your ozone .

I can't get over getting high! Oh and yes, I will attempt to learn this backroll, the ones you were doing in botany looked awesome dude, except that one where your board few off your feet hehe , I reckon just try and perfect it now so that you can do it with the kite really low.

Hi guys,

Definately check out the Fatsands "Progression" series of DVD's, they have helped heaps of riders progress smoothly and quickly.

Progression Beginner
Progression Intermediate
Progression Advanced
Progression Professional

There is a list of the tricks in each DVD on my site in the "buy online" section.

Good winds,

learn to do everything u can on ur normal side switch aswell.

i find that to be alot more impressive then someone who can do a million tricks one way but cant do any of them the other.

Dave: popping from toeside is the hardest thing EVER. Haha.

Looking the same normal and switch is also very important. Congo is a good example of this.
