Has anyone else had construction problems with an FLX. I have an 04 132. I wanna say I love the way this board rides but about 6 months ago (when I'd had it for about 9 months or so) it started delaminating on one of the corners. I never contacted Underground about it cos I thought I'd have to send it back and didn't have another board to ride. Instead I've tried to reattach the laminate with contact adhesive but it hasn't worked and keeps lifting. Now the tip has actually lost some of its shape so maybe the core has taken on water. If anyone from Underground reads this forum (or just anyone with any experiences), please can you offer some advice.

Get some Epiglass from Whitworths Marine or somewhere similar. Clean out the area to be fixed from sand, make sure it is dry. Mix a bit of Epiglass marine grade epoxy/chopped glass mix work it into the delammed area and clamp between to flat pieces of wood for 6-8 hrs minimum or overnight. The problem will be fixed in the morning, sand off any excess.
If you bought to board from me, bring it in and I will do it for free.
If you are in Sydney, but did not get it from Kitepower still bring it to me and I will do it, probaly for a beer or 6.

I'd contact Underground, I'm pretty sure I've seen positive posts about their back up and support.

Might end up with a new stick.

I recon you should give ya nostrals a good bush mens blow and lite up a dooby then crack a big woody and have a good hard look at the problem here. when ya find out what that is put on some james brown scratch ya bolders and scream halajuja and you'll feel heaps better.
