Firstly - great forum Laurie - it gets me through the working day

I know that this is predominantly a WA forum, but you do get the odd eastern stater popping up. I class myself as a Vic now after 7 years here, but spent most of my growing up years in W.A.

I'm thinking of a few weeks off at some stage this year & am interested in any recommendations for good kiting spots in Vic.

I have kited most spots on the bay & do Inverloch/Shallow Inlet - interested in feedback on further flung areas like Gippsland Lakes, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota etc - even into Southern NSW.

Cheers

Tom

A good place to go would be Wilsons Prom AKA Sandy Point
Great flat water low dunes and usually good winds

ok getting into the southern NSW region

definately try merimbula there is waves, flat water, cranking winds consistentently through summer period and also a flat water lake just behind short point surf beach

definately worth a look even 10km south is pambula beach which is where i go in january every year, there is surf and a flat water river mouth that has sick little surf flowing at its outlet.
