I'll be heading to Victoria for Christmas. I know I'll have sea breese withdrawals before I even leave for perth airport. Don't remind me please.

Can any east coasters or west aussies tell me of some easy 20-25knot spots? I'll be just out of Melbourne around Maffra. I hear there a spot at the Gibbsland Lakes.

Hopefully i can get a bit in. Stop me turning to drink....while the sun is up anyway.

Cheers

plenty of spots on the gippsland lakes, and there is 90 mile beach for waves. sandy point is definitely worth a look if you are in east vic, the wind absolutely cranks through there, flat water lagoon on one side and surf on the other side of the spit.

take a steamer.

(and dont try to order a middy, they're called pots)
