My company last year took over 100k still images and we did over 30 videos for our customers. I use a combo of Go Pro and now the new Sony action cam. Gotta say the new action Sony cam is better, has greater depth of field and colours that our out of this world however is more challenging to use than say the Go pro. Not sure how this equates for use in the water (kiting) but for aerial (hang gliding) is good. This link shows a combo of Go pro and Sony action cam footage on one of our promotional clips.
