yo, we're probably going to run it again this sunday. Keep you eyes on the forecast.

We're thinking later this time (12 noon perhaps). and probably scarborough.

So keep tuned, we'll make the call by Friday

Looking like it may be BIG surf, 2m to 4m swell and lots of 20k plus NW winds pushing the rights at Scabs, could be ALL TIME on the beaches......

On a more serious note folks, Sunday forecast is for strong westerlies at this point. Scarbs will be pretty much dead onshore. Do I hear for Leighton again. The banks have improved greatly with all these northerly swells and at least it gets cross on in a Westerly.

i agree, if its dead west hit Leighton, otherwise brighton. If its west and strong Brighton will still be OK. Im keen for some decent size this time round.

Seabreeze is calling NNW before the front goes through at 2pm which would would be perefect for an early start at Scarbs and wrap up by lunchtime [you snooze you loose Corey]. BOM Could change the timing of that front yet so best to be flexible.

It will be cool to see everyone trying riding on the opposite tack though. I expect the standard might slip a bit!

Trigg Point is good in a NNWer.
A chance to wavekite some righthanders frontside.
It's good for body-balance,,,yin and yang.

Yes - Looks like it,s going to be on for Sunday AM,

Size is great at Scarbs if you have the power.

We will have to have the best barrell award, and no it doesn;t matter if you make it out or not.

OKAY HERE WE GO!

We're still not sure on the timing but it's definitely going to be on. How many takers would we get if we held the event at 9am Sunday morning?

BOM is saying the front will hit around 12:30, so we either go before that with northerlies, or after that with westerlies.

So voice your opinion about a 9am START TIME for the first heat.

Nothing is final yet, hopefully we get more accurate info from BOM, the sooner we get.

9 is fine with me but i guess it has too suit the majority. i would prefer hitting the nw rather than the westerly. scabs is good in a nw. there usually is a good right hander straight out front of the surfclub when there is a decent swell

It's on at Scabs Sunday 9am START to catch the best part of the NW , before the predicted WEST FRONT hits around 1 ish. As per last time. Break the riders in 2 then go for 20 minute heats. Top half go through. See ya there Lads and Ladies. Lets have some fun.
