so is it still on and if so what dates, and what format. i think no heats and 2 days of a mambo style event at contacios(500m north of ob city) and everyone gets a vote so evryone kites all weekend and judges what they see on the water and has their own say as to what they liked and can be annonymous. and it also gives riders the chance to take out different boards(twin tip , surfboard, wakeboard whatever) and kites whatever and no short heats were you spend the rest of the day sitting and waiting. thoughts..............

Isn't Contacios 500m North of Observation City, between Scarborough and Trigg?

Sounds perfect , but can we make it the 11-12th of Feb .(working weekends till then)
It will also give those people that go away for the school holidays a chance to get there .
I think 2 days of riding will give everybody a fair chance of showing what they can do ,( or thought they could do , but can't)
Also Felix will have left by then .

Place : Contachio's (northern end of Scarbs carparks )
Format : Everybody out riding for the 2 days .
Judging : Still to be decided at the pub .

Maybe we can all think about what would be fair , post it here and then Johnno can decide what he likes .

Personally I think if we hand out a judging form of some sort to everybody on the first day with a number of categories .
eg best move on wave , best ride ,biggest and best airs (only count if landed back on wave face ), best style , best wipeout ect then a vote for best overall to determine the winner .
At the end of the second day we go back onto the grass area and have a few drinks and maybe a bbq and count the votes .
