For any who missed the earlier posts, come on down and support the kitesurfers who will be doing the demonstration on Perth Water this afternoon. Expected audience is about 300,000 people and our biggest unknown, the wind, looks like it could be cranking 25 knots.

Location for WAKSA members or friends: Coode Street South Perth.
Demo Area: in front of the city, between River Side Drive and South Perth foreshore.
Session Time: 4:30pm or perhaps earlier, through to 6:15pm
Expected Audience: 300,000+
Invitation Riders Are:
Simon Wichterman
Dale Stanton
Adam Ratajewski
Darren Marshall
Jess van den Burg
Paul (VB Man) Comerford
Ryland Blakeney (to be confirmed)
Theresa McKirdy
Damien Gough
Ian Young (to be confirmed)
Obstacle Course: Spit posts, a jet ski race, sky divers, and a flying boat landing in the middle of our session. But we've got it sorted thanks to several Rescue Boat volunteers: Ian Young, Darren Marshall and Phil Morrow.

We are getting radio air time while its on, TV interview & coverage as well from 10.

A special area of the foreshore has been partitioned off for us. So if you can, please come on down to join us.

And a special Vote of Thanks to Phil Morrow (Puppet) for coordinating this thing and bringing it all together against huge logistical issues. A sensational effort! Well done Phil.

We pulled it off everyone!!!!
Wind didn't come in until we were meant to be out there. It was 25-30 knots at Woodies but about 12-15 knots on Perth Water. Enough to put on a bit of a spectacle for those along Riverside Drive.
Thanks to everyone who turned up and made it work. I'm dying to see some of the footage you blokes with the camera's got. You certainly came back wet enough so there must have been some action.

Yeah looks like you fellas had a terrifec time BUT the photo looks like you had no-one turn up. You should have had it in Melbourne because they get 300,000 turn up to watch traffic lights change. C'mon WAAAAAAAA show us what your 'suppose' to be good at.

Cheers for the invite Paulio
Wouldnt dream of moving from wind-heaven permanently but let me know when your nan is due to get out of hospital & I'll drop over for a weekend
Actually Paulio; when I heard about those carpark scams in Sydney I was quite relieved to know 'nan' was safely locked away in QLD.
Id hate to be left wondering if she was praps involved in all that.
