Here's the original plan :-

Sunday, 23 September 2007 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
To kick the start of the season off, we're holding a nice easy downwinder to ease people back on the water.
We'll be meeting at around 13:00 at Brighton Beach carpark and wait for the wind to arrive.
A bus will transport WAKSA members to Floreat Beach where we'll start the run back to Brighton Beach.
There'll be a sausage sizzle once everyone is back at Brighton Beach.
This is a short downwinder with a safe beach all the way, so if you've never taken part in a downwinder or just need a bit more confidence on the ocean then this is an ideal opportunity to have a great afternoon kiting.

See you there!

The predicted NWer definately raises the option of reversing the whole procedure. ie Meet at Floreat, bus to Brighton, kite back to Floreat. The decision may need to made on the day ?
Keep checking Seabreeze for an official post from the organising crew.

If the weather is unkind to us and we decide to cancel the event then we will look at running it again on the 30/09/07.

Please note that the backup date will only be used if we cancel the event prior to it taking place. We will not use the backup if the event goes ahead, but we are unable to complete the downwinder.

When does the call get made? :)
