ok i'm getting bored of freestyle..........want to do waves more and more.

I'm using an old 6'2" ACT surfboard that i am slowly getting used to. I really enjoy the feeling of freedom without straps, and like the ability to change foot position.

the problem i am having though is in choppy conditions, just cant get out....its a drama. Anyone got tips. Don't want to use straps at all, as i'm a surfer from long ago and dont even want to get used to that.

Mike I'm sure Carl/Mike/Ry/Cory and the rest of the boys up at brighton who are ripping it up will be able to give you a better answer...

But for starters if it's becoming frustrating either search for a spot that is not in the wave zone or just body drag past the break

Yeah, i'm gonna spend more time at Brighton/leighton/cott this winter.

went to Brighton the other day, saw Carl who chased me, wetsuit round ankles waving a best bar chanting "get off my ****in land" and "your too far North" He's touchy about the hamster thing.

So...Waves....

LOL.
Poor Relative is bored.
I thought your new bow kite was exciting you.
Here's an idea to kill the boredumb.
Get a malibu and kite in the waves with that mother.
Don't forget the sex wax.

Well the secret is to get your self a yarga pro or waroo, you can boost streight off the beach with your board in hand and land on the other side of the breaker ready to rip it up...

none of those cripplebows or snotics can offer that

No the voice activation was not realy that good as we tested the new kites in hurrican katrina. We found the all the wind noise was playing havok with the Active Noise Reduction ear peice, so we just went one step further... It's thought activated

I think its sorta the same as the rule for girls going topless
U should only try it if you can keep things pretty much where they should be - without any help

back to the real question, its just a matter of both timing and aiming your run a bit better and keeping your kite lower over the wave and sucking the board up underneath you like a skateboard. once you get used to it you will get out in any conditions.
