A beautiful south wind delivered great conditions for kiting Brighton Beach NSW. Apart from the 3 lucky buggers kiting with me - who got out in other parts of the Bay

no Galahs in sight

mafisto ..... read ' Galah to be outed ' thread and you will get an idea of how Australian humour relates to our iconic GALAH. Click on the profile of GalahOnTheBay for a picture of the great galah.
In the outback of Australia I have seen flocks of the buggers covering miles of sky. Galah is an oft used Aussie term for someone who likes to have a bit of fun. Galah's don't take themselves seriously because they know life is too short to be too bloody serious......... GALAH's are good.........thats why I like to hunt them ......

Hey Prepare..... I agree. We have had some good days recently ..............and I have kited everyone of them. Can't wait for the Summer...... will be nice to get out of the steamer.
cheers

Great session at Longy yesterday and also on last Friday. More then a couple people commented on how the water seems warmer then expected. Anyone else think that?
Probably not down at Botany as that water always feels cold.

Thats great Mafisto, I was hoping I had sorted the bridle on that Crossbow properly!
A galah is a noisy bird, and we also say it to describe someone who looks and sounds like COL PACKER
Thats not saying that Col is THE GALAH, just that he sounds and looks like one, ok?

I'm sure you have the picture now?

Cya and

Goodwinds

Yeah Carbs,
The attention-seeking is vomit.
Humour them please.

Tomorrow on the West Coast it's blowing 40 knots.
But do we spell it out in CAPS.
No, it's just another day at the beach.
hahahahah

NOW..NOW boys ... just because you have kiting paradise over there ...there's no need to bag our elation about getting a bit of wind. We are lucky to get wind every other week in the winter and even then its often lousy. PYHI
