Can you use the medium bar off a 10.5 punch on the 12 boss has any one done this before and if somwhat are the best settings to use cheers

Yes, you should be able to use the same bars. I tried the strong wind setting today on the 7.5 and found the kite much harder to turn.

That is because the rear lines are longer(depowered if you like) same as pulling the trim all the way in

I do, so as to make the kite turn slower. If you want to get the same depower out of the bar, you need to swap the depower line (which is attached to the chicken loop). You put a L depower line on a M bar, therefore losing now of the depower when sheeting out.

The difference is about 5cm of depower. Swapping the depower line is not totally necessary, but it does work the same as it was designed in relation to depower, given you that little bit more range, so you don't get into too much trouble if the wind starts to get too strong. Or for when missing handle passes, so you don't get dragged.
