Few little scrap clips messing around while I was at home the other day. Shame it wasn't more side-shore, but I will get what I can take!

Sweet.
I can always tell a guy that has surfed before kitesurfing. smooth lines hard hacks not on the shoulder and the arial ballet is not overdone.

looks like a nice little board for the conditions.

Yeah, almost direct offshore doesn't really play well with un-hooking, no point wasting a session though .

Was two different boards, the first feels great normally, but I was too powered with the wind being so off-shore and was getting pushed out the back a lot, so I swapped to the smaller one.

@Dave..... cheers, I try and keep it somewhat smooth, I really like the first board but it wasn't the day for it.

The board with the graphics on the bottom, the wider shorter one? Worked better in those conditions.

The one at the start is more drivey, goes down the line better with minimal kite input.

I currently have 3 surfboards and all work better in different conditions. When I surfed and was sponsored, I had 7 boards. The hardest thing is choosing what board will work best.

The "waves" at my local are so crap the majority of the time and it is so onshore, I cant find a board Im happy with. A mate who as kitesurfed for 13 years wanted to build a board for crap waves. so were doing 2 at a time.

3 weeks in, 1 day a week, shaped, glassed, stained, pearl glass-jobs. different construction materials. Its so cool making something completely different.

Got fins. Using gastra 50mm on side and 2 30 mm fins in the tail.

Alex, 2 days left before final gloss coats. Ill PM you a piccy. This is not a nugget, not a shinnster, not anything else mutant, its a directional.
Using stealth stuff, and pythagoras. "Rusty-JP" forward of front foot rail rear contour, Its got so many things in the nose concave, huge channels in the rear, a massive swallow tail to disperse water.
Are you interested?

Hmm, ok, half glassed. 3 days ago.

So its got 5-7 mm nose rocker in the front, 3mm rocker in the tail pre bent using different wood laminates.

My next creation is aasymetrical board 170 X 38 that goes starboard, Strapped, full asymetrical concave and channels on the starboard side. small fins for stability. I dont see when woodies blows over 30+ knots a few of us mad bastards with a GPS watch could have some fun.

Any input from speed demons on butter flat water would be appreciated.
