Now I've got your attention, because of all the threads commenting why would you want to go anywhere else, I've cancelled my FIJI trip and I've decide to venture over to W.A. and check it out.
Does any one out there want to hook up and spend a couple of weeks kiteing from Perth to Gero? (Split the costs and would like to go Oct - Nov when the doctor kicks in).
If this request fails do any of you west aussie's guy's know of anyone over there that does kiting trips north?

possibly i might be up for the first two weeks in october - in between jobs. I haven't actually worked out what I'm going to do, but a kiting trip sounds like the go.
I'm based in perth, so can provide the car and camping gear and some knowledge of the perth to gero beaches - been to a few but not too many, so keen to check out some of the others.
last year (the only october i've spent in wa) the seabreezes were still pretty lame around perth. not sure about further north, but pretty sure we could find somewhere worth checking out.
i'll try to call you over the next couple of days.
