Where was everyone yesterday? (Thurs 7/9/06)
Only Richard out at the red barge on his 12m cab late in the arvo...
Windsurfers had the best of it earlier in the day with some awesome runs on whitecaps all the way down to Marina Mirage and back! Nice flat water near the sand bank, was one of those days were you just have go jeeeeeeezzz that's windy... must have peaked somewhere between 35 and 40 at lunch time or shortly after. That's it! No more wello in westerlies for me, the barge looks awesome but I guess it needs to be fairly strong wind to work...like yesterday

and launch could be tricky with a few guys out!
Would have windsurfed it myself ealier in the day but just about pulled my groin off my pelvis last Sunday at Shearwater kiting, started some serious boosts for the 1st time (awesome fun) but on the last one the board didn't release and I got dragged and turned sideways which pulled an already tight groin... ouch, heard it go ping! The last sound you want to hear...

Many thanks to guys that lent a hand getting my kite down and retrieving my board as I couldn't walk properly!
However, it was more painful watching the guys yesterday from the beach than the pool work required to recover the groin, although I have been watching the pool for stingrays but so far only found good looking swimming instructresses!! Makes the pain bearable...
