our only hope here is that the water is cold (helping set up seabreezes ) the friggen valley is still there so crapo westerlies will probably continue to keep NE seabreezes just offshore , and when you look at the seabreeze wind arrows nobbys will be pus 10 -12 kts E and norah head will be pumpin as usual 20 kt plus NE and still a fair old drive away.
The map is troughing out already with the highs ridging and pushing a pus easterly onshore flow .If its nukin easterly it will probably be pouring rain as well
my tip, take up hang gliding or paragliding or move to WA .
Having said that next mon tue wed are looking promising for a seabreeze with strong onshore winds for the rest of this week ( yep good luck overcoming the shorey and the sweep, hope you like rain)
next week will be a good indicator of summer if this northerly flow sets up .Will it just fluff its way down the valley ( or howl ) westerly or will the seabreeze fire up.?
If you talk to the old salty poleys they used to do it at the cliff at dicko in the 80's in a NE .Now there is never enough wind there and hardly ever enough at Nobbys for them .
