Hi all,

I have recently purchased 2 kites from WA and need to get them over to the East Coast Northern NSW.
Can anyone suggest the best way to get them here, I have looked on Australia post and another E-go.com courier site but not sure about either.

Can anyone who has sent them across the country before suggest which is better courier or post and which is not going to cost me an arm and a leg.

I have sent quite a few over to the east and have also recieved a few. Probably 8-10 over the years. Have always sent with aus post (registered) and havnt had any probs. Should cost no more than $40 a kite.

i have used e-go quite a few times and they have always been good. Its definitely cheaper to go from depot to depot though

or give to wishy, let him kite at esperance, he'll ditch the kite within 5 minutes and the currents will take care of the rest, 5/7 days I reckon

Im keen for a massive downwinder,,
the kite might be "only flowen once,(for thousands of miles)and still crispy" ,by the time it gets there.

australia post is easy, australiapost.com.au its all on the interweb for a quote, pack it nice and tight in a box keep it small as possible, i seem to recall posting kites with insurance for roughly $40.... oh bum the pump its not worth sending

I bought a kite from a guy in Melbourne the other week. we decided to use Australia Post. Cash on Delivery. It cost him $8.50 to send it and me $11 to pick it up. So there is no risk of someone doing the dirty on ya. Was awesome
